Description
Grade 8 is the heavy electrode of the range. At 4.0 mm it carries the most current and lays down the most weld metal per rod, suiting thick sections and heavy fabrication where fewer, larger passes save time. It needs a welding machine with the output to drive it comfortably.

Storage
Keep packets sealed in a dry store, off the floor and away from walls. In coastal humidity, use opened packets promptly and reseal what you can.
