An AWS classification is a set of measurable minimums, not a country of origin. Our range is manufactured to AWS A5.1 E6013 and approved by the Ghana Standards Authority — this page explains what both mean and how every batch stays traceable.

What we control on every batch
Electrodes are only as good as their consistency. These are the controls applied across production before product is released for sale.
AWS A5.1 E6013 classification
The range is manufactured to the E6013 class: minimum 430 MPa tensile strength, all-position welding (except vertical-down), and smooth running on AC or DC. Any brand stamped E6013, imported or local, is promising the same minimums.
Ghana Standards Authority approval
The product range is approved by the Ghana Standards Authority — Ghana's national standards body — for sale on the Ghanaian market. Approval documentation is available to buyers on request.
Coating & usability checks
Coating condition, moisture level and arc behaviour are checked in production so every packet strikes and runs the way the last one did.
Batch traceability
Every packet carries a batch code that traces back to its materials, production run and release checks.

Reading the classification
What E6013 on the packet means
The AWS number is a promise about the weld, not a brand name. Here is how to read it — and why it lets a Ghanaian electrode compete head-on with any import.

Electrode
A covered electrode for manual (stick) arc welding.

Strength
Minimum tensile strength of the deposited weld metal: 60,000 psi — about 430 MPa.

Positions
Usable in all welding positions — flat, horizontal, vertical-up and overhead.

Coating & current
Rutile coating with a soft, stable arc that runs on AC as well as DC — suited to everyday workshop machines.
Any electrode stamped E6013 — imported or made in Ghana — is promising these same minimums. That is the point: the standard measures the weld, not the passport.
